Apart from Hampton Chutney, finding non tourist-trap lunch-spots in Soho (where I work) has been a
major challenge. But thankfully I recently stumbled upon Smile to Go. I’ve
never been to the original namesake, The Smile, but it must be awesome. Its
smaller outpost, Smile to Go, has a cozy, old-fashioned ambiance, delicious
takeout food and even a few tables for dining in. The food is super fresh and
delicious. I really love the kale salad and chicken salad sandwich (with dried
cranberries and arugula). The old-fashioned coffee cake is ridiculously good
too. If you find yourself in Soho and you need a quick bite, definitely get
your Smile on.
